I have ordered over a dozen chisels, a few hand saws, a few planes, and other tools from Kurashige. Everything is of excellent quality and several of my favorite tools came from this store. It used to be difficult and expensive to obtain second hand Japanese tools, but now I can easily shop for brand new tools on my phone and compared to Lie Nielsen or Veritas, these Japanese tools are actually a better value. Kurashige has become my go-to source for woodworking tools.

自分はこの梅心子の切れ味に文句はございません、始めののは刃物幅135mm、２本目の刃物幅138mm,付いている箱にもそう書いてあります。併し2本とも はもの 長さは130mmなのです。じぶんは 切れる 事がポテンシャルの職人なので問題にする気はありません。しかし商法上5mmと8mmの長さの差はRetourになる恐れがありますので鍛冶屋さんに注意するご要があります。

Sharp right from the start, and not too much work to seat the hoop. Haven’t used extensively yet but no chips to date.
