もともとは唐の時代、日本から唐へ贈られた袈裟に書かれていた言葉なんですけど、離れた土地にいても、同じ空の下でつながっているという意味になります。
コロナの初期に、日本から中国へ送られた支援物資にはこの二行の詩が記されていて。

About the story of 「山川異域、 風月同天」
This phrase originally comes from a robe that was sent from Japan to Tang China during the Tang dynasty.It carries the meaning that even when people live in distant lands, they are still connected under the same sky.
During the early days of COVID, these same lines were written on relief supplies sent from Japan to China.
The craftsman said he created these two kiridashi knives with gratitude and emotion inspired by that moment.
