Our Experience & Impressions of This Natural Whetstone

This whetstone is on the harder side, yet it offers a smooth, gliding sharpening feel. Using it together with a nagura stone further enhances the sharpening experience.

After sharpening, the steel develops a beautiful silvery-gray luster, while the patterns in the jigane (base steel) become clearly visible. 

These are simply our personal impressions based on our own experience. The feel and performance of natural whetstones can vary from person to person.
