I sharpened the blade, fine tuned the fit, and then shaped the body a bit. Initially shavings would clog but after gently trimming the outflow, shavings flowed smoothly. Used it on a curly maple handle. Very pleased with how it works. Beautiful tool. Recommended.

I sharpened the blade, fine tuned the fit, and then shaped the body a bit. Initially shavings would clog but after gently trimming the outflow, shavings flowed smoothly. Used it on a curly maple handle. Very pleased with how it works. Beautiful tool. Recommended.
