Double-edged hatchet Made by Tosa Uchihamono 土佐打刃物 両刃ツル切りナタ

This is an authentic machete used mainly in mountain forests for cutting vine weeds and twigs. The blade is also attached to the tip of the machete so that it can pull off and cut vines and grass entangled in the trunks of trees.

The blade is hand-forged by skilled craftsmen, so it is characterized by its robustness and excellent sharpness. The blade is made of Yasugi steel, Aogami No. 2, so it retains its sharpness for a long time after initial use.

It is a double-edged blade that cuts equally well whether you are cutting from the right or the left. It can also be used by left-handed people. This machete is sharply edged to cut vines with a single swing. Please note that this is not a machete for cutting branches.
