Old stock Masamune Hand made Stainless Steel Carpenter Sashigane 掘出し物 正宗作 大工用 角厚尺目付曲尺 1尺5寸

I have lots of squares of various types and sizes, but they are all rigid as is the western tradition. The flexibility of the sashigane while being perfectly square is an added benefit. As before service was excellent and packaging well done so no damage. Very happy!

I am very pleased with the quality of this hand made Sashigane.

I got this particular sashigane because of the classical measurements, (shaku), and the built in calculations for circumference, and making a square post from a round pole. I may never need this but I wanted to get one before people stop making them.
Service was excellent from Yamasuke Kurashige Tools, who sent them to a friend at a hotel in Japan at my request.
