Kanetake kiridashi カネ武 切出し小刀 21mm

It started off chippy for the 1st few mm, but it settled down real nice after. The edge steel is pretty hard -- diamonds are a no-no for sharpening, so stick with waterstones for this fellow.

I didn't expect it from this blacksmith, but a nice surprise revealed as I set up the flats on the ura side ☺️

It started off chippy for the 1st few mm, but it settled down real nice after. The edge steel is pretty hard -- diamonds are a no-no for sharpening, so stick with waterstones for this fellow.
