I ordered the Fujihiro Slick for a timber framing project I am doing and it is the perfect tool for the job. Yamasuke has always been swift in shipping and careful to pack the tools so they arrive in good shape and on time. The quality of the tools they sell are always of the highest quality and never disappoint. Highly recommended!
I am very pleased with this product . The handle makes it easier and quicker to flatten my water stones .
Ioroi makes awsome chisels I have a couple timber chisels and a couple slicks from Ioroi and all get very sharp and hold their edges, also they all took very little 6656work to get flat. I was very happy to see kurashige son was offering a set, so I bought them and no disappointment they are beautiful and they work great thank very much Yamasuke tools
This is an excellent straight edge for the price, and is long enough to use with naga dai kanna. Very pleased with this tool. I heard about Ymasuke Kurashige through "The Carpentry Life", and have always been pleased with their service, and selection.
The Yoshitaka Rabbel plane is beautifully made. Works like a charm.
I’d buy more items from Yamasuke Kurashige, but too many items are sold out!
An excellent working tool, I am very pleased with my purchase and the service of the store.
Arrived in Maine fast. Beautiful tool that I will joy for a lifetime
Great hand tool.
My new favorite marking knife
A very useful knife!
This black finished hammer head has an eye so well made that the handle doesn't need to be wedged, even with the seasonal humidity changes here in Wisconsin, USA. I can only hope that the work completed with this tool will remotely reflect the skill that went into creating this finely balanced hammer.

Soddisfatto 100 %, ottimo oggetto e servizio
As a first time user of Japanese chisels the initial set-up is a bit of a challenge. I am only part way through sharpening the first chisel and already I can tell that the edge will be impressive. The look nice too.
Using the Atoma diamond stone to flatten waterstones produces a level of flatness that is WAY better than what I was getting with abrasive paper on a piece of glass. Tools seem to be much sharper as a result. My advice to myself in the past would be "don't wait just get this, you won't regret it".
