As with most Kanna, it took a bit of work to set up the dai so the blade seated securely. Honed the blade on a 6000 grit water stone then a strop. Now it’s great for working on very thin Kumiko and 1/12 scale doll house furniture . I found it works best with thumb on front center and pointer and middle fingers on rear as balancers while drawing the kanna gently towards you. :) Especially if the edge is narrow.
