An extraordinary opportunity to own a vintage Japanese smoothing plane (shiage-kanna) named “Awaji no Yunagi (淡路の夕凪)” — “Evening Calm of Awaji” — by the legendary Chiyotsuru Sadahide 1st ( Kanki Yoshiryo ) of Banshu Miki, crafted in June 1979 (Shōwa 53). A museum-quality piece representing the pinnacle of Japanese plane making.
