It does it's job flawlessly. Its very accurate, very thick and sturdy and has a nice protective sleeve. The edges are quite sharp, which I like, but if you aren't careful you might cut yourself. You can also of course file the edges slightly to eliminate that issue.

I have yet to use this tool yet but it arrived shockingly fast!!

I don’t know yet if it is a game changer but it’s definitely much easier to tune the dai sole. I really like using it

This is an excellent straight edge for the price, and is long enough to use with naga dai kanna. Very pleased with this tool. I heard about Ymasuke Kurashige through "The Carpentry Life", and have always been pleased with their service, and selection.
