This is my 3rd Azumamuneyoshi timber chisel. After using 36mm and 42mm I've added 48mm to my toolbox. I don't know who is the master blacksmith behind that brand but these chisels are fantastic and at a bargain price . The steel is superb, entire chisel is well balanced, easy to sharpen with good edge retention even for ash hardwood I often work with. Thank You.

The item I received was well-packaged and in good condition.
I am in the U.K and thought finding a pocket (size) tool to sharpen my carving and kitchen knives - and I thought, Humm, woodwork tools in Japan must have this.
I did research after following this young guy in Y.T and he had links and copied two urls - he where he highly recommended the YAMASUKE KurashigeTools. I browsed the first and visited the second website - YAMASUKE K.T. this is where I picked the sharpening stone, but also a Japanese carving knife. I am very happy with both which were posted in a clean and well-sealed bubble wrapped envelop.
I highly recommend this business as they have fantastic tools but also are quick and polite.
