Rough and heavy

Perhaps I didn’t study the pictures closely enough, but this is quite a bit heavier than the other (not even shinogi) usunomi in my collection, more comparable in girth and heft to my 48mm tatakinomi.

Although products from this store come with a disclaimer that they may have imperfections, the one I received is rougher than other chisels I’ve gotten from Kurashige which have in general been excellent. In this case the neck is skewed laterally around 2%, and the finishing is slapdash (maybe because of the issue with the neck).
